WEST™ is a limited dramatic series about a man who spends twenty years building things for other people, loses nearly all of it in a divorce that outlasts the marriage, and is awarded the one asset nobody bothered to value: a pile of his own intellectual property.
From a stripped home office in the Arizona desert he builds a performer — photoreal, tireless, wearing his own face with the fear taken out of it. The work is extraordinary. It is also public, because he filed for it himself, and a filing is a matter of public record. What he built to protect himself is the thing that tells everyone exactly where he is.
A story about ownership, authorship, and what it means to make something nobody can take — set in the first industry where that question stopped being hypothetical.
